  • Teacher of interpreting courses for BA and MA students and my research interests focus on translation and interpreting studies and pedagogy of translation and interpreting courses. As a part-time interpreter, I mainly worked as consecutive and simultaneous interpreter for conferences.

  • I was appointed as liaison offficer for Columbia representative and for Antwerp in 2016 and 2018 Tianjin Summer Davos.


  • The undergraduate courses I‘m responsiblbe for include Translation StudiesTheories and Practice2-1 and 2-2E-C Basic Interpreting Techniques 2-1 compulsoryand 2-2optional.

    At the postgraduate level, I mainly taught courses for MTI programs (Masters of Translation and Interpreting) including Basic Interpreting techniques C-E, Consecutive Interprerting C-E and Simultaneous Interpreting C-E

    I also taught Simultaneous Interpreting course to MA students of Nankai-Galasgow joint program.


  • I also won the third prize of Chinese to English translation in the 2018 international translation competition organized by Translators Association of China.

    I have been recognized for consecutive years from 2017 to 2021 as the best instructor for National Interpreting Contest.
